Professional Experience

Mr. Godbout has more than 10 years of professional experience in the construction and consulting industries.  In the litigation advisory realm, Mr. Godbout has performed expert delay and cost analysis, standards of care reviews, and assisted in the development of expert reports for use in negotiations, mediations, insurance claims, and arbitrations.  Mr. Godbout has also provided assistance to many clients in execution of active construction projects as an owner’s representative and consultant.  Prior to Mr. Godbout’s time in consulting, Mr. Godbout worked as a Project Superintendent for an international general contractor in the oil & gas, power generation, commercial, mining, and infrastructure sectors. 

Areas of Expertise

Mr. Godbout has assisted clients with their insurance and litigation matters in commercial and residential real estate, transportation, power generation, oil & gas infrastructure, utility transmission and distribution, residential, and recreational industries.  Mr. Godbout has extensive knowledge in matters pertaining to mechanical and piping systems on large industrial projects, concrete construction and remediation, facades and waterproofing, and heavy civil fields.  

Mr. Godbout’s professional experience includes project management, cost estimating, damages analysis and quantification, scheduling and delay analysis, contract administration, document control and construction means & methods review.

Mr. Godbout has a degree in Mechanical & Materials Engineering from Western University in London, Canada.
