Mr. Hettinger is a Senior Manager in LitCon’s Chicago office. Mr. Hettinger specializes in the investigation, analysis, and resolution of business disputes in the construction, government contracts, and utilities industries.
Mr. Hettinger’s experience includes external advisory, project management, and expert witness related services, including lessons learned and preventative measures. He also has significant experience preparing analyses in support of high-profile business decisions for Fortune Global 500 corporations, including several multinationals. Most of his recent work is in heavy industries, including multi-billion dollar energy infrastructure projects, business disputes involving nuclear reactor technology and intellectual property, complex construction matters, and other projects in the built environment.

Over the last 12 years, Mr. Hettinger has assisted clients with complex financial, accounting, engineering, economic, and schedule issues. With a background rooted in engineering and business, Mr. Hettinger is well positioned to assist his clients with both technical and non-technical issues that arise on projects.
Mr. Hettinger received his master’s in the management of product design and development from the McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University, and he studied systems engineering, design, and business at the University of Illinois.
